At Voxcan, we perform preclinical biodistribution studies using non-invasive in vivo fluorescence imaging. With this technique, our team has experience in following a wide range of products (nanoparticles, nanomaterials, proteins, antibodies, liposomes…).
Traditional PK/PD studies are usually performed at terminal endpoints and therefore do not readily locate compounds in vivo nor their organ retention time in one given animal. In contrast, in vivo fluorescence imaging directly follows labelled-compounds biodistribution in live animals over time. This technique is applicable to a wide range of fluorochromes for labelling your compound of interest, in naïve or disease animal models.
By combining bioluminescence with fluorescence in vivo imaging, we can also assess whether your compound colocalizes with the pathological process in a longitudinal manner.
